Learn how to link channel controls and assign DCAs for remote control of multiple channel faders in the eMotion LV1 live mixing console.

When mixer channels are assigned to a link, their controls move together. Change a linkable control or fader that’s a member of a link group, and the corresponding controls on the other channels will change existing offsets are kept controls are mixed in most mixer layers.

In the channel strips the faders imagers channel trims and mutes are linked in the input m ode preamp gains are linked but polarity and +48 Volt phantom, or not in the rack mode adding by passing, or disabling a plug-in on any channel will similarly affect the same racks loss of all other linked channels.

You can also globally copy plugins. Specific plugin controls are not linked.

Assigned filter EQ and dynamics processors can be controlled together in the dynamics EQ mode. You can also turn on and off sections of the dynamics processor.

All aux and controls are linked. Router mode controls are not linked.

The channel mode is really a combination of the other modes so controls on linked channels behave here like they do in the other modes.

Assign channels to link groups in the output section of the channel window or in the patch.

A channel to be a member of up to 16 link groups.

Temporarily suspend the controls linking by selecting or holding CTRL while adjusting it.

The link panel, is in the upper left corner of the mixer window. It’s used to select and engage links. Use the link drop-down menu to select a link when the link group is on channels assigned to the current link group or identified by small numbers next to their panners.

Only one link is applied at a time. The one shown in the menu box you can link together channels from different layers.

Click the spill button to see all the channels in the current link group. A spill page displays the linked channels inn every channel type not just the current layer.

Use the drop-down menu to select different links in order to see the members of any sixteen link groups. Channel types are identified by color.

On the left side of the spill page, is the DCA fader associated with that link group.

When a channel is assigned to a link, it’s also assigned to the corresponding DCA. DCA’s are controlled in the link DCA layer.
